I love this place. I have been going for almost 2 months and have encountered several of their teachers. They are gentle, guiding and provide individual attention to all of their students. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local resource that can cater to many different levels of practice. Jenn G 12/19/2012
I took my first class at Verona yoga on Friday after trying 3 other studios and never quite feeling comfortable. Within the first 10 minutes of class I knew I had found the place I had been looking for all along. Janine was so attentive to each student and really stressed the importance of good form, correcting us as we needed. The class was the perfect flow to allow for proper learning and confidence building. The class flew by! I had such a great time and by the time I left I felt so wonderful and at peace and already thinking about the next time I could go back. This is definitely the place for me! I can't wait to try out their new infrared hot yoga once I get more experienced. Review from Stephanie G. Verona, NJ12/9/2012
Got a great deal from Groupon and took my very first class with Sue and I loved it. I am a bit out of shape from an injury and was apprehensive about being in an over achieving yoga class ( i have gone to quite a few of them). But Sue was sweet and gentle and although she tries a few positions I could not quite get a hold off, I did not feel any pressure to keep up. Instead she encouraged us to modify as our body needs. Loved it, will keep going.
Verona Yoga is truly a gem placed right in the middle of the Township of Verona's downtown business district. As a musician by trade who has rehearsed, worked out, recorded, or performed in countless studios similar to the Verona Yoga studio, Verona Yoga has by far the warmest feeling combined with a natural ambiance that sets the perfect tone for body healing and working out. The instructors are all very cordial and truly care about their clientele. The studio is imaculate and well kept. I highly recommend Verona Yoga to everyone...it will not disappoint!!! Jake T. About 5 months ago, I started doing yoga because of lower back pain. ( I sit at my desk most of the day and my back was killing me.) At first, I was really skeptical because I am not that flexible and was not sure I would really like the pace of yoga.
Well, I am absolutely hooked now and it is because of the amazing teachers and the atmosphere they have created at Verona Yoga and Wellness Center. Kristin, Nicole , Doreen and Sue, are patient , fun, and are constantly walking around the class adjusting students so they are doing the poses correctly. I really like that they ask the students if there are areas they would like to focus on in class and then do incorporate those positions. The music is very upbeat and I always leave the class feeling stronger and glad that I came to class.
I definitely look forward to coming to class after a long and stressful day at work. And of course, it's the best way to start off my Sunday mornings.
Verona Yoga is a great place for me to go and relax after work! I have taken classes with most of their instructors and each one has something different to offer. Whether it is a slow, relaxing, restorative class with Laura or a more challenging class with Nicole, I always leave rejuvinated! They have a great energy in the studio and I would reccomend this studio to anyone looking for a great yoga class!
I have been practicing yoga for years and I absolutely love this studio and the instructors! The owner Doreen is an experienced yogi who has hand selected the fine array of teachers. The classes have just the right balance of artful serenity and athleticism. This is by far my favorite yoga studio in the area.

This is a good studio for beginners and those looking for more intimate classes. The classes are small, usually between 5-10 people. Most of the classes and students are at the beginner level, so this can be frustrating to the more advanced yogis. Kristin and Nicole are 2 teachers who explore more advanced poses. In general though, all of the instructors are very helpful and walk around making or suggesting adjustments. The teachers are open to gearing classes towards targeted areas suggested from the students. Instructors, Kristin and Nicole are best for the more advanced/everyday yogis. Instructors, Sue and Laura are great for students looking for more gentle or restorative yoga practice. I always leave feeling less stressed and happy with how my practice is improving.
They also have belly dancing, kung fu, tai chi, and kids yoga classes. Occasionally, workshops and events are offered as well. I've only done yoga here though.
I have to say, this a great yoga studio! The teachers really care about you and your practice. I went there last night at 7:30 not realizing that the class I was attending was canceled. Doreen happened to be there and gave me a private session. Now that's caring about my practice. Thank you Doreen. Spread the word to all your friends about this studio. :)
